Galvanized Pipe

All Galvanized Pipes undergo a hot-dip zinc coating process that provides excellent corrosion resistance for long-term use in outdoor and high-moisture environments. This protective barrier helps extend the service life of the pipe in structural and plumbing applications.
Galvanized Pipes offer a lower-cost alternative to stainless steel, delivering reliable rust protection for up to 30 years. Ideal for fence posts, water lines, and structural supports, they combine durability with affordability for a wide range of uses.
Galvanized Steel Pipe is available in A53 Tested Pipe for sizes up to 6" schedule 40, and in A500 Grade for 8" to 12" diameters. This ensures high-quality, specification-compliant pipe options for both pressure-tested and structural-grade applications.
Hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) pipe is easily recognized by its crystallized surface pattern known as "spangle." This finish enhances corrosion resistance and offers a visual cue of the zinc coating’s presence and quality.
Galvanized Pipe maintains the strength and performance of carbon steel while adding a zinc coating for superior corrosion resistance. Its robust construction and protective finish make it a trusted material for construction frameworks, outdoor plumbing, and exposed piping systems.

Workability
Can be cut, machined, or welded using standard steel fabrication methods.
Adequate ventilation should be used to avoid inhalation of fumes when heated.
Saw-cut ends of pre-cut lengths are not galvanized and should be treated with a cold galvanizing compound.
8" to 12" sizes may have a 3/4" hole present in ends from the dipping process.
